LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Darwin Booher, R-Evart, on Wednesday announced the opening of his new office in the Connie B. Binsfeld Office Building in Lansing.
“It is an honor to work in a building named for such a committed and dedicated public servant who served northern Michigan with great distinction,” Booher said. “Connie Binsfeld is a role model for all who serve in public office. I’m glad that Binsfeld will be long remembered into the future with the new Michigan Senate office building being named in her honor and memory.”
The building, named after former Michigan Lt. Gov. Connie Binsfeld, opened on Monday, Jan. 9 and is now home to Michigan Senate offices. Binsfeld was a resident of the 35th District, residing in Leelanau County, and had previously represented the area in the Michigan House and Senate.
