Sen. Booher features artwork from Betsie Valley Elementary School

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Darwin Booher, R-Evart, is featuring artwork in his Lansing office from Michelle Herban’s fourth-grade class at Betsie Valley Elementary School of Thompsonville.

Betsie Valley Elementary is part of the Benzie Central Schools. The artwork comes to Booher’s office as part of the “Through the Eyes of a Child” program, in which students are asked to draw what they want to be when they grow up.

The program runs monthly through the end of 2016 and highlights specific counties in Booher’s district.
